Fall 2016 Update

by Lincoln Maskey on October 10, 2016

It’s been a very busy few months for Atlantic PHP, hence the lack of communication lately!

We had great success with Northeast PHP again in August: we were very happy to see so many local developers at the event. Thanks to all for coming out! We even made it to The Guardian 🙂 http://www.theguardian.pe.ca/Business/2016-10-09/article-4659110/Moving-IT-conference-to-Charlottetown-a-bold-move/1 .

Our ‘Beer and Bytes’ group is coming along well. For those of you that do not know about this group, we meet every two weeks at Uptown Lounge (formerly the Smuggler’s Jug). It’s a nice way to set aside some time and meet other PHP developers that are working on, well, whatever. Bring your laptop and meet some other coders that can hopefully answer and ask lots of questions as you work through your own project. Or, just sit and talk!

For more details on that group, join us on Meetup at http://www.meetup.com/Atlantic-PHP-User-Group/ . Each meet up is announced at least a few days in advance.

Finally, Northeast PHP 2017 dates have been announced: August 9, 10 and 11. Keep an eye out for more details as they come in!
